Apparently nothing going on in Mexico since late 1997. Properties were originally optioned from Seville Mineral Developments which folded its' tent a couple years back. Now works in Idaho specializing on kaolin.

La Turquesa Cu Property, Baja California Norte. Picked up a 20% option on 260 ha concession. Area of known Cu mineralization with secondary Cu carbonates, malachite and azurite at the surface as well as a significant amount of gem quality turquoise. Drilling and geophysics has been recommended. (As of 2001 Xemac controls this property)

El Volcan (39,500 ha) and La Venada I and La Venada II Au consessions (5,000 ha) , Baja Norte. Picked up option to acquire 70% interest in claims located 400 mi south of San Diego on the eastern (Gulf.) side of Baja. Retains first right of refusal on the remaining 30%. These Baja claims are held by Seville Mineral Developments S.A. de C.V. (NOTE: Seville is owned 51% by Cabo de Oro Ltd. and 49% by Western Ventures Corp.) Received a full and unconditional release from Attwood Gold Corp. regarding these claims. Negotiation with Sevelle, Cabo de Ora and Western is proceeding. Regarding El Volcan, CKD paid all outstanding taxes and legal costs in Mexico, plus the costs of preliminary investigative work by Perry Durning. As of August CKD has not entered into a JV on this gold alteration zone. Eight anomalous areas are reported to be contained within the concession.
