Company changed its name from Britannia Gold Corp. along with a seven to one consolidation of its outstanding shares on 09Jul99. Company's Mexican subsidiary is Minera de Caribe S.A. de C.V. Seven active projects in Mexico as of mid-1997 including:

Real de Catorce Ag District, San Luis Potosi. Located 200 km N of Mexico D.F. Executed a letter of intent with Grupo Catorce S.A. de C.V., a Mexican company owned by the Garcia family, which allows Brittania to gain control of 75% of this historic district. Production from plant with 500 tpd capacity was stopped in 1990. Reserves are 575,000 tonnes at 276 gpt Ag and 1 M tonnes of tailings at 100 gpt. Staff mapped and sampled vein structures to identify a number of potential ore shoots. A 3500m drill program is substantially complete and the company is awaiting assays of their most recent holes to determine the success of the program. (NOTE: A total of 20,000m of drilling was applied for so future program expansion is no problem.). Received VSE approval to pay a Finder's Fee to Fred Felder of $171,388 for bringing in the Real de Catorce Property (50/50 cash and shares - Way to go Fred!!)

Xochipala Prospect, Guerrero. Optioned a 193 ha concession in the extreme SE corner of the Morelos Reserve Area. Contains previously identified mineralized zones: Mina Vieja, Xocoltes and El Amate. Aeromag anomalies present on Consejo studies. Detailed mapping and sampling commenced 3rd week of February and field crews active as of April, 1997.IP and magnetic surveys conducted mid year. This program led to several coincident geological, geophysical and geochemical anomalies. Drill permits have been applied for. Drill target definition started in Feb. 1997 and commencement of a drill program was originally to start in July, 1997. As of 21May98 all preliminary work and environmental permitting was complete and Britannia was talking this around to majors and medium sized companies for a JV. She is all dressed up and ready to dance. Time to get busy.

Sierra Madre Property, Natividad District, Oaxaca. Option on 1,050 ha claim from a Mexican national over some high-grade Au mines and staked additional 102,943 ha surrounding it and covering several large intrusive bodies. This area is located 43 km from city of Oaxaca and contiguous with the historic Natividad Mine. Penoles evaluated this property in 1984. Regional stream seds and soil grids were planned.

Reserve estimates by Consejo on two structures around 2.7 and 2.5 m wide respectively are: 607.500 tonnes at 5.66 grams Au and 210 grams Ag plus 421,000 tonnes at 4.28 grams Au and 228 grams Ag. Field crews active as of April, 1997.
