Chapleau's primary focus at the moment appears to be in the Quesnel Mining District in central British Columbia, immediately southeast of the Woodjam copper-gold porphyry project and adjacent claims. Also working in Nevada but not much going on in Mexico.

Far West Mining Ltd. reached an agreement with Chapleau Resources Ltd. to make a $US 1M private placement to fund the first two phases of exploration.on 9 separate concessions covering 485,949 Ha in central Mexico. Far West Mining Ltd. has optioned to earn into a 50% interest from Aztec Silver Corporation (a private company that is 75% owned by Canarc Resource Corp.)
