Hillsborough is now a coal company that back in the mid 90's had an interest in the El Oro-Tlalpuyahua District very near Mexico City amongst other diamond & metal interests elsewhere in the world such as NB, Ontario and Brazil. Now its principal assets consist of a 100% interest in Quinsam Coal Corporation, a thermal coal producer located near Campbell River,
British Columbia.

Once had optioned the historic El Oro Au-Ag vein deposit, located 110 km NW of Mexico D.F. from Industrias Luismin. Rehabilitated old workings and drilled in 1993. Retained a 10% interest in company which subsequently controled this area. This 10% retained interest may be purchased by Luismin for $1 M. (El Viejo Gambusino heard that they ran into histoplasmosis problems when the new ventilation passageways blew over the bat guano that had accumulated throughout the old workings).
