Now known as Kenrich-Eskay, this company is primarily engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in British Columbia (Eskay Creek Area) and Ontario (Timmins Creek Area).

Kenrich-Eskay Mining Corporation  KRC   (VSE)

Kenrich Mining Corp. changed name to Kenrich-Eskay Mining Corp. in November 2001 along with a 5 to 1 share consolidation. Name change probably also reflects a shift away from interests in Mexico.

Ocampo District, Chihuahua. Optioned three bulk-tonnage Au-Ag properties from Blue Gold Corp., a private U.S. company. Properties known as the Pedrogosa Group (La Mesa and Fiona) and the Balleza Group, both with historic high-grade Au-Ag quartz veins hosted in Lower Volcanic Group rocks. Exploration to focus on large tonnage heap-leachable target. Vendor has expanded due diligence period. A crew, including 2 senior geologists, was dispatched to property in mid-January. Work program will include line cutting, surface sampling and trenching in preparation for drilling Pedregosa group.

La Mesa Property, Chihuahua. Near the town of El Pilar located about 10 km SW of the Moris Mine. Property contains a large 300m by 1000m clay altered and silicified area in volcanic rocks. Zone is cut by 6 gold bearing quartx veins. including the Pedrogoza and Juana Inez. A short hole percussion testing on this property is about to commence. The Mesa Property contains a large 300 meter by 1000 meter area of altered and silicified volcanic rocks which have been cut by six gold bearing quartz veins. The Pedregosa and Juana Inez veins are the only veins that have been mined with grades ranging from 10 grams/tonne to 60 grams/tonne (0.29 oz/t to 1.7 oz/t) gold. The many veins between these two mines have not been systematically tested. Results from a soil geochemical survey over the Mesa gave a continuous anomaly 700 meters by 100 meters. This anomaly is open at both ends. Gold values within the soil anomaly ranged from 165 to 705 ppb gold. Management is highly encouraged by these excellent numbers. A further impressive soil anomaly over two lines at the end of the grid was located beside the Juana Inez mine workings. This anomaly which is at least 200 meters by 200 meters in dimension and open off the grid in all directions has several values greater than 1000 ppb (1 gram/Tonne) gold with the largest value at 4550 ppb (4.55 grams/Tonne) gold. This area also has anomalous silver values from 10 grams/Tonne to 57 grams/Tonne silver. These geochemical anomalies are presently being tested by trenching and percussion drilling. Results from this program of physical work will be released when they are received.

Fiona Property, Chihuahua. A 3000 ha property located 1.0 km W of La Mesa with extensive clay-silica alteration. The Fiona Property is a large 3,000 hectare property which contains extensive clay - silica alteration. Preliminary surface work has located a 50 to 100 meter wide zone of silicification and quartz stockworks which has been traced for at least one kilometer. This zone has been sampled and results are pending. This mineralization is similar in type to the Balleza mineralization and similar gold grades are expected.

Balleza Property, Chihuahua. A 50m wide stockwork 5.0 km W of La Mesa containing silicification and quartz veining. The Balleza Property contains a 50 meter wide silicified zone containing stockworks quartz veining. This structurally controlled zone has been traced for about one kilometre along strike. Surface chip sampling along this zone has given several values ranging from 1.5 grams/Tonne gold and 25 grams/Tonne silver to 3.5 grams/Tonne gold and 71 grams/Tonne silver.
