Operates the Santa Maria de la Paz Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag Mine located near Matehuala, SLP around 200 km N of the city of San Luis Potosi. Worked since 1770, the mine closed in 1992 and the Pb-Zn-Ag portions were put on care and maintenance. Attention was re-directed to the Cu skarn portions known as the Dolores and Cobriza orebodies. Proven reserves are 12 M tonnes at 1.2% Cu. Estimates of resource potential in area are 100 M tonnes. A concentrator treats 2,500 tpd. Employs around 200 workers.
