Otish Mountain Exploration Inc.   OTS   (TSXV)

Caldera 9A and Caldera 10, 11, Zacatecas State - Optioned a 50% interest from Arcturus Resources in 3 concessions which are located in south Zacatecas State, Mexico. The Caldera 9A, 10 and 11 mineral concessions lie SE of the recent San Nicholas VMS discovery made by Teck Corp./Western Copper Holdings. Caldera 11 is 7,000 Ha, Caldera 10 is 7,500 Ha and Caldera 9A is 1,400 Ha. The properties are underlain by rock units considered favorable to host "massive sulphide" poly metallic deposits similar to the San Nicholas discovery (a major zinc-copper-gold-silver deposit). The Zacatecas concessions are prospective for both bulk tonnage and high grade precious metals based on its close proximity to the Real de Angeles open pit mine and the former gold producing Pinos Mining District. The company anticipates than an initial work program will commence at the end of May, 1998.
