A 3,550 ha. Au-Ag property is in the eastern Mexican Basin and Range Province and is located 170 km SW of El Paso Texas near the city of Nuevo Casas Grandes. Pacific Amber can earn in to a 50% level with JV partner Pandora Industries. Total of 46 line km of IP completed by Peter E. Walcott and Associates of Vancouver, B.C. over a 2.5 by 3.2 km grid found several chargeability and resistivity anomalies. Mapping and soil geochem found an area of intense chalcedonic quartz veining along with barite calcite and MnOx veining in altered basaltic rocks. Consulting geologist Larry Haynes appears to be doing a lot of this work and he has recommended a 3,000 m diamond drilling program. Hishikari, Japan and McLaughlin, CA are being forwarded as exploration models. (The Old Prospector seems to recollect that neither of the above two are hosted in basalts).
