Land Grab near El Salvador Project, Zacatecas. Grabbed 63,000 Ha of land near the Teck/Western Copper El Salvador (San Nicolas) massive sulfide discovery in Zacatecas State. Not exactly sure of it's relation to the Calderas Project listed below. Titles have been received on these 63,000 ha.

Caldera Project in Pinos Area, Zacatecas. Two hour drive from either Zacatecas, ZAC  or San Luis Potosi, SLP. Negotiated an option on 9Nov96 to purchase two mineral properties in located in the Caldera III concession surrounding the historic Pinos District, Zacatecas State. Known as Caldera No. 8 and Caldera No. 12. A geological crew was mobilized Feb 21, 1997 to evaluate golds prospects on the Caldera concessions adjacent to Hecla's holdings in the Pinos District. Own 100% of 12,000 ha. property which includes numerous old workings in an area of previous pre-Colonial placer production. Sampling of soils developed over silicified tuffs returned values of up to 150 ppb Au and anomalous Pb, As and Hg. Rock chips have ranged as high as 43.5 grams from siliceous or altered volcanic rocks interpreted to have been formed in a caldera setting. By October, mapping, prospecting, sampling and satellite image analyses had led to several areas deemed worthy of follow-up work. This follow-up began in January, 1998 and will focus on defining a stratigraphic correlation of the units relative to those on Teck/Western Copper's property. Optioned 50% of Caldera 9A to President Mines Ltd. Owns 100% of claims Caldera 5 - 12 which total 55,000 ha and were acquired by staking.
