Consolidated Pine Channel vended their interests in Mexico to Tyler Resources in 1998 and focused their attention back to diamonds and PGMs Canada.

Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corp.     [KPG:TSX-V]

Not doing much in Mexico nowadays - mostly PGM, diamonds and VMS stuff up in the Great White North, mainly Saskatchewan and Newfoundland. Sorry to note the untimely passing of their energetic and gregarious CEO and President, Dale Hoffman in January, 2001.

Don David Au Property, Chihuahua. Quit-claimed these concessions to Tyler Resources in December, 1998. VSE accepted for filing this agreement. Had optioned 100% undivided interest from Cia. Minera Cascabel S.A. de C.V. in 11,135 ha property located immediately west of ground controlled by Francisco Gold in the El Sauzal Area, Batopilas District, Chihuahua. The Don David claim is 14 km west of the El Sauzal discovery which reportedly contains 3.2 million ounces of gold. Immediately adjacent to the west of the Don David claim is the Lluvia de Oro District, one of Chihuahua's most prolific past Au producers. Satellite Image structural interpretation and alteration analysis has been completed and Phase I field field evaluation consisting of helicopter supported recon geologic mapping/sampling to check 43 predetermined sites and conduct a comprehensive BLEG stream sediment survey over the entire claim were carried out during end of June-start of July. Samples were submitted to American Assay Lab Tucson for prep and shipped to Reno for analysis. Area expanded in Sep. 98 through successful acquisition of cancelled "El Fuerte" claim (now Don David II) in a sorteo. Loose ends tied up with Don David III to bring land holdings to 35,989 Ha total. All titles are held under contract through Mexican geological consulting firm Cia. Minera Cascabel S.A. de C.V.
