Cusac has the Table Mountain Gold Mine in north central BC, has poked around with Ni-Co, porphyry Cu-Mo deposits and PGMs. Presently it is looking at acquiring an interest in an Alberta natural gas producer. Not any action in Mexico since 1998.

Cusac Gold Mines Ltd.      [CQC:TSE]  [CUSIF:OTCBB]

Formed a 50/50 JV in Mexico: Minera Cusac S.A. de C.V. along with Minera Basay S,A, de C.V. where Basay throws in 6 properties and a mill and Cusac Gold throws in shares, cash and work commitment. Mario Ayub was on the board of directors, but resigned in March, 1999 because Cusac Gold's overall emphasis was not sufficiently focused on Mexico.

Chalchihuates District,
Zacatecas. Transferred rights to new JV which now holds rights to or owns outright 5 historic Ag-Pb-Zn and or Cu-Au producers in the Chalchihuites District. The land package totals 440 hectares and the properties include a modern 200 tpd mill. Minimal diamond drilling has been done to date. Target is manto and chimney replacement polymetallic ores. The mines include: Magistral located 2 km from IMMSA's Guantes Cronos Project and La Rusia which is 3 km SE of Pan American Silver's La Colorada Mine. Sufficient underground reserves have been outlined to justify immediate production from La Rusia given the low start-up capital requirements.

The property contains a pervasively altered, broad, intrusive-hosted zone at least 70-100m in diameter with abundant malachite, azurite chalcosite and Ag. Drilling planned to evaluate property downdip.
