Guadalupana Au-Ag-Cu Mine A 600 ha project in Chihuahua near the village of Portrero de Bojorquez. (Reported as located 20 mi from El Sauzal). Entered second phase of drilling with Sierra Madre Drilling. At least 10 DDH holes drilled. Phase I was 4 holes, Phase II was 6 holes. Minimum program of 5,000 ft proposed. Approximate overall grade reported at 0.02 opt Au equivalent with a number of intercepts reported at greater than 0.08 Au equivalent (NOTE: Separate Au and Ag values are not provided and they do not explain if they are also taking the Cu credit or not). High-grade Cu ore with signifiant Au and Ag credit exists on Guadalupana property. Also referred to as Petrero Mine. Anticipated as possible 100 tpd operation. Security problems reported Jan. '99 by consultant Peter Leriche prohibit access to the property at this time. Reliance Geological Services reports that evidently it is a little rough up there and they were told that four people were recently been killed in the immediate vicinity of the property. ASE advised it will require an engineering report based on an on-site visit. Time to call in the Federales.

San Fernando, Sonora. Five adjoining concessions covering 7150 ha include: Oro Rico, El Pino, Santa Maria and San Nicolas II in addition to San Fernando. Property acquired in an area where Minefinder's and Kennecott are active. Proposed target is Cu-Au porphyry system.
