Old workings on the old claims may have reached depths of 100m and been worked 300m along strike. A 1,500 m diamond drilling program with holes planned for 100 to 250m was contracted to Perforaciones Tigre and started 5Oct98. The initial 9-hole program concluded by the end of October with encouraging results. Best intercept was 18.8m of 5.9 gpt Au (which included 1.5m of 31.14 gpt). Fox Geological Services was contracted to supervise program and prepare a report on the results.

Two exploration claims totaling just over 243 ha covering old Ag-Au vein mine with 100m of crosscuts, adits and stopes. Dumps and adits named El Socorro and El Ocotillo indicate past activity in the area.
