Moved out of minerals sector by vending 100% in all mining asssets by November 2000. Link has not been active for some time and was halted under cease trade orders in 2000 and 2001. Was pursuing acquiring 100% of shares of Nexient Corp.

Link Mineral Ventures Ltd.   LMVL   (CUB)

Mexican portfolio derived from Cia. Minera Sierral Azul, S.A. de C.V., a privately held company active in Jalisco State and elsewhere in central Mexico 1994-1997. Owns several properties in Jalisco State as well as Michoacan and Guerrero. On June 21, 1999 the Company will hold its annual general and special meeting and seek approval from its shareholders to carry out up to a 1 for 5 consolidation of its shares and change its name to Azul Resources Corporation. Currently, the number of issued and outstanding common shares is 20,446,468 which may be rolled back to 4,089,294.

Tzitsio - Ag-Au-Sb Project, Michoacan.  A four hole reverse circulation drill program was completed for a total of 550 meters in June '99 to test three mineralized targets which are all within a 2.5 kilometer strike length of a section of a dacitic dyke on the east flank of a north plunging anticline. The three targets tested were: 1) mineralization within the dacitic dyke north of the vein swarms; 2) mineralization where the dyke and vein swarms converge; 3) a quartzite unit in proximity to the dyke south of the vein swarms. Drilling along a 2.5 kilometer section strike length of the 10 kilometer dacitic dyke returned results as follows:

* Assay values from Link channel sampling used over 3 meters as adit was
encountered during drilling.

Anomalous silver values were encountered throughout the length of all the drill holes and the expected geology was intercepted supporting the view that the area has the potential to host a bulk mineable silver-gold-antimony deposit. Further work is warranted as the first four holes were widely spaced over 2.5 kilometers of the 10 kilometer dacitic dyke. The Equidad mine, vein swarm system and a large IP anomaly remain to be drill tested.

As of 1Jun99 Link had located 3 abandoned underground mines and over 25 substantial mine workings on the Tzitzio Ag-Au-Sb property. Underground sampling progressed while road building and drill pad construction was being completed. In total Link has identified mineralization over a strike length of 2.5 kilometers in three structures. The drill program will test the extent and width of the silver-gold mineralization within a dacitic dyke as well as test the silver-gold-antimony mineralization in the vein swarms intercepted by this mineralized dyke. The program is targeting the combined potential of the two systems for a bulk mineable silver-gold deposit.

Drilling was planned to test the depth of mineralization within the dyke below the El Zarco adit. Link's continuous channel sampling in the El Zarco adit returned an average grade of 1.2 grams gold per tonne, 62.6 g/t silver and 2% antimony along a 24 meter width. High-grade ore pockets with greater than 30 % sulfide dissemination were identified in the strongly fractured footwall of the dyke and returned values of 27.5 g/t gold and 1,540 g/t silver. These values were not included in the calculation of the 24 meter average grades. Other drill holes are planned to test the depth and width of the silver-gold vein swarm intercepted by the mineralized dyke at the Santo Domingo mine. The Santo Domingo mine has been developed to a depth of 120 meters over 5 levels with mineralization occurring in a vein swarm over a 15 to 30 meter width. A grab sample taken of vein material from the historical ore dump graded 3.19 Kg/t silver, 1.1 g/t gold, 1.45 % zinc and 5.44 % lead. Samples taken from fractured wall rock within the veins and vein influenced zones of the dacitic dyke returned values of 400 g/t silver over 2 meters and 882 g/t silver, 0.65 g/t gold and 2.08 % zinc over 2.5 meters respectively. The fractured mineralized portion of the dyke is 4 to 10 meters wide and has an average grade of 60 g/t silver with local fracture zones grading 290 g/t silver over 2 meters.

Two kilometers south of the El Zarco adit, a third mineralized setting has been identified at a lower structural level in the abandoned Aguila mine. The structure hosts sulfide impregnated quartzites with local strata-bound hydrothermal massive sulfide lenses and returned values of 809 g/t silver over 6 meters in proximity to the fractured and mineralized dyke. This mineralized quartzite package has been identified by underground sampling across a 10 to 30 meter wide zone. The Company will await results from the initial drill holes before a decision is made to further drill test this target.
