Reyna Negra Property, Veracruz. Located 70 km by road N of Veracruz. Acquired 120,000 ha by staking. Completely acquired additional ground through options. Now totally surrounds Almaden's Caballo Blanco project. Hosts epithermal-style mineralization. Argillic alteration identified in the Papayas-Limon area which has quartz-veining and stockwork. Grab samples to 0.5 opt Au and 3+ opt Ag. region also includes evidence of additional exploration targets at Apartado Zone (jasperoid boulders), Las Lajas Zone (boulders of jasperoid breccias) and Dos Arroyos Zone (sulfide-bearing skarn float) .

Santa Maria Claims, Batopilas District, Chihuahua. Located near El Sauzal discovery of Francisco Gold. Entered agreement to option 50% interest with Glencairn (25%) and El Paso Partners (25%). Claims covered 30-40% by Tertiary volcanics. Area includes a number of polymetallic showings. Sampling and recon mapping scheduled for fall of '97.
