In Oct. 1995 Minera Sierra Madre acquired private Mexican company, Minera Sierra Dorada S.A. de C.V., which owns rights to 2 properties in Sonora State.
No-Name Cu-Au-Ag prospect, Sinaloa State. Entered into an agreement with Geomimex to acquire 50% interest in 18,355 ha Cu-Au-Ag prospect.
Tucabe Property Sonora. A 40 ha concession near Cucurpe, around 150 km NNE of Hermosillo. Tucabe received 880m of RC to depths of 75m in 1Q96. Entered into strategic alliance with Sonoran State Government in 3Q96 which will lead to utilization of existing 150 tpd floatation mill in Arevechi. Five local mines will feed mill. Options to purchase these mines are currently underway.
Pregedia and Bartola Properties, Sonora. Located adjacent to Tucabe. In February, 1996, previous operators drilled 10 RC holes at Pragedia totaling 550 m.This extended Tucabe structure to a length of 1.8 km. .CMH 1998-1999
