Sonora Gold Corporation is a publicly traded Junior Exploration Company focused mainly on its Santa Gertrudis mineral property which produced some 600,000 ounces of Gold during the 1990's and its San Enrique exploration target in Sonora, Mexico. It changed its name from International Coromandel Resources Ltd on August 17, 2004.

Santa Gertrudis District, Sonora.  In total there are 25 claims within a 6,461 hectare area, 40 kilometers east of the town of Magdalena de Kino. The main claim block is contiguous and consists of 8 Santa Gertrudis claims covering 2010.85 hectares and 11 Roca Roja claims totaling 1638.44 hectares. A second group of 2 claims (954 hectares) is situated 2 kilometers southeast of the main block and protects the Greta target area. A third block of 4 claims covering 1857 hectares is situated 20 kilometers southeast of the main block, protecting the San Enrique target area. The project is ideally situated between Tuscon, Arizona and Hermosillo, Mexico. Easy access is provided via a 39 kilometer gravel road. The project will rely on its close proximity to the existing U.S. infrastructure as development progresses.

International Coromandel changed May 5, 2000 from Coromandel Resources along with a 5 to 1 rollback.

Entered into an agreement in March 2002 to acquire 100% of issued and outstanding shares of Recursos Escondidos S.A. de C.V., the owner of the Roca Roja sed-hosted gold property adjacent to the Santa Gertrudis property of Campbell Resources. 

Had previously entered into an agreement in December 2001 to acquire 13 claims from Oro de Sotula S.A. de C.V. which was Campbell Resources' operating company in Mexico.

CMH 2002-2003

International Coromandel Resources Ltd. (TSX:ICD) reports the following results from its recently completed reverse circulation drill program on the Santa Gertrudis Project owned by its Mexican subsidiaries. The Project comprises the Santa Gertrudis and Amelia mine properties, from which approximately 565,000 ounces have previously been mined. La Eme Project This target is in excess of 600 metres long and represents the western extension of the structure that hosts the Amelia mine as well as the Pirinola and La Trindad pits. The hole was drilled on the western portion of the target about one kilometre southwest of the Amelia pit. This hole is the first in this target. Hole # 1 was 96 metres long, drilled south at -70 degrees. The target zone was intersected from 45 to 70.5 metres down the hole and consisted of moderate to strong iron oxide and argillic alteration in
