Efforts appear to be directed towards phosphates in Guinea-Bissau in West Africa. Apparently not much recent action in Mexico by Champion.

Grab samples yielded up to 22% Zn, 7.7% Cu, 12% Pb, 700 gpt Ag and 3 gpt Au. Champion says individual lenses are 3 to 20m thick. (El Viejo Gambusino surfed in and found out through that as of 3Q99 they are still promoting this property on the internet)
