Minera Portree de Zacatecas S.A. de C.V. 

Minera Portree de Zacatecas, S.A. de C.V. is a private Mexican corporation owned 99.99% by Kildonan, Inc. Minera Portree engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties and owns eight mineral projects comprising approximately 16,600 acres located in the State of Zacatecas in North Central Mexico including the following:

Bilbao Project, Ojo Caliente Mining District, Zacatecas. Holds a 1.5 percent NSR on certain claims. Subject of pre-feasibility study by Kilborn Engineering. Property optioned to Diadem Resources Ltd. Located 56 km SE of Zacatecas near Panfilo Natera.  The Bilbao Project is host to an open pittable ZnOx deposit with Cu and Cd credits which is amenable to the SX-EW extraction process. A resource of 2.44 million tonnes grading 3.73% Zn and 0.39% Cu has been delineated from an extensive underground sampling program. A pre-feasibility study undertaken in 1995 confirmed the economic potential of the project which at a $.055 zinc price and $1.35 copper price indicated a 34.5% DCF ROR based on a capital cost estimate of US $20.2 M and a payback period of 1.9 years. Zn and Cu operating cash costs are estimated at US$0.21 and US$0.52/lb respectively.

Parroquia Property, Zacatecas mining district. Portree holds a 1.5% NSR. Exploration stage project located 2 km NW of Zacatecas, the Parroquia Project is host to a past producing underground mine from which 550,000 tonnes of high grade (10-12 percent), copper ore was extracted. Historical mine plans show a resource of 194,628 tonnes grading 213 g/t silver, 2.75 percent copper, 5.96 percent zinc and 1.5 g/t gold and a inferred resource of 1,394,000 tonnes at a similar grade to a depth of 320 metres.

Zamora Zacatecas mining district. Portree holds a 2% NSR on advanced exploration stage property located 5 km NE of Zacatecas.

El Colorado, Zacatecas mining district. Exploration stage property located 45 km SW of Zacatecas

El Latifundio, Zacatecas mining district. Portree holds a 1.5% NSR on exploration stage property located 15 km N of Zacatecas.

Pajarito Ojo Caliente mining district. Portree holds a 1.5% NSR on exploration stage property located 63 km SE of Zacatecas; 15 km W of Ojo Caliente.

Milagros, Ojo Caliente mining district. Portree holds a 1.5% NSR. Presently held by Minera el Morro and subject to option to Minera ConSil to earn 50%. Property is located 60 km SE Zacatecas; 1 km E of Ojo Caliente earn

Piero y Gia, Ojo Caliente mining district. Portree holds a 1.5% NSR on certain claims. presently held by Minera el Morro and subject to option to Minera ConSil to earn 50%. Property is located 60 km SE of Zacatecas; 15 km E of Ojo Caliente

During 1Q97 Minera Portree was almost acquired by Sikaman Gold Resources Ltd. who had planned to consolidate its issued and outstanding common shares on a 1:24 basis and rename itself to Mexicana Mining Corporation. Mr. G.W. Felderhof  was to be President and CEO, Mr. Thomas D. Griffis was to be Chairman and Mr. D.S. MacLeod was to be director of the reorganized company. This effort never happened in that they were not able to raise the CDN $25 million agreed on for a purchase price.
